Zombie movies
In this part of the website, I will tell you a little bit more about zombie movies. I will talk to you about some of the most amazing movies involving zombies, whether they are good or bad, funny or terrifying! Because let's face it, this is a genre that is loaded with crappy movies! And it's not necessarily a bad thing!
However, be warned that these reviews are not intended for people who did not see the movies. Many spoilers are available in these pages! My goal is to describe the monsters and events depicted in those movies! These are not conventional movie critics!
So if you enjoy zombies and horror movies, just choose the film of your choice below and enjoy!
28 days later: Characters first!
If you want a good zombie movie that really cares about its characters, then "28 days later" is the movie for you!
Dawn of the dead (2004): An honest remake!
Two years before the legendary silver screen production called "300", Zack Snyder directed a remake of one of Romero's zombie movie called "Dawn of the dead".
Day of the dead (1985): Not the best one!
If you enjoy zombie movies, then maybe you'll have a blast with this one, otherwise, Romero did much better... before and after!
Dead alive: Forget about the Hobbits!
Peter Jackson like you've never seen him before! Forget about the "Lord of the rings" trilogy! It's the goriest and bloodiest movie ever!
Dead Snow: Humor, gore and action!
With plenty of humor, gore and action, this is a definite "must-see" for any slasher, horror and zombie lover!
The descent: Scary as hell!
A good horror movie doesn't really need to be explicit or show you tons of hemoglobin to scare the hell out of you! Check this one out!
Evil dead: A classic. Period.
I was probably around 15 years old at that time. We are in the mid 80s. My friends and I had decided to rent a horror movie. A bad one, just to have a few laughs! It was the beginning of a long nightmare for us!
Evil dead 2: Funnier and hysterical!
This one could easily be described as follow: This movie is a sequel with more laughs, more action, more gore and more... budget!
I am legend: Not bad but not good either!
I must admit that the premise was good: Will Smith fighting zombies in a devastated New York city. Unfortunately, it turns out to be tough... for the viewer!
Land of the dead (2005): Great remake with lots of gore!
Great movie with solid cast, lots of blood and gore scenes and zombies that can learn and evolved rapidly!
Re-animator: Gory and amusing!
This movie (supported by a great performance by Jeffrey Combs) is the perfect example of what a good, funny and gory movie from the 80s should look like.
Resident evil: Onscreen video game!
While the first movie was original and entertaining, "Apocalypse" and "Extinction" were a little bit boring and didn't bring much to the franchise.
Zombieland: Rule #9 - Watch this one!
Great cast, great scenario, great zombies, plenty of blood and a killer intro featuring Metallica! Only Bill Murray is missing to make the whole thing perfect! Oh! Wait! He's there!
